Tell us about your kids:
My oldest daughter, Marissa, is a sophomore industrial engineering major at TAMU (Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2025). She is involved in John 15 at St. Mary's, was a fish camp counselor last summer (hopes to do it again this summer), and when she isn't studying she enjoys hanging out with her friends or playing volleyball at the rec center.
My youngest daughter, Alanna, is currently a Senior at Prosper High School and will be attending TAMU in the fall of 2023. She will be studying kinesiology and hopes to eventually get her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy crocheting, playing games, and spending time with my family.
What is a good book you've read recently? I am currently reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
What is your most favorite vacation you've ever taken or favorite place you've traveled to? My favorite place that I have traveled to is Switzerland. The people there were very welcoming and the country was just beautiful.
What is something most people don't know about you? I played in a kickball league in South Texas in late elementary school through middle school.
What is your favorite thing about Texas A&M? The Aggie Spirit and all the traditions that Texas A&M has.
What is some advice you would give a new student at A&M? Get involved and find "your" people. Classes will not be like high school, but you just have to go and do your best. Have fun!
What is some advice you would give a MOM of a new student at A&M?My advice for a mom of a new student would be to just be there for your Aggie, listen and encourage as needed. Most important is to remember they are adults now and need to learn to make their own decisions.
